When recording some of their albums, the band took place in unusual locations, such as a grain silo or a swimming pool. The space provided a distinctive type of reverberation that added to the beauty of the songs. Great Lake Swimmers have received several awards for their music and have been recognized for their nature inspired songs. In the past, they have received a few Juno Awards.
Aggie theater is a unique entertainment venue in downtown Fort Collins. The surround sound is excellent so you can hear every hit. The theater is a beautiful old building that was originally a movie theater. There is a full bar and there are seats for about 650 people. There is standing room as well as seats in the balcony.
